Over 2,000 elementary students and their families participated in this year’s One School One Book One Community program – reading the same book at the same time. The program, designed to get kids reading and funded by the Warwick Education Foundation, is in its second year district-wide. Families read a chapter a night and conducted a variety of at-home activities – from service and art projects to games and just spending time together. The grand finale was an evening with book author Victoria J. Coe at Warwick Middle School. Woof! Woof! (that’s dog-speak for “high five”) to all who participated.
